Who we are
SixStars is an independent, fan-made GTA VI community. This policy covers this website. The iPhone app has its own policy at /app/privacy; the two share one account system.
Your account
If you create an account we keep your email address, your handle, your chosen colour and a securely hashed password, held by our database provider (Supabase, London region). If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address. We never see your Google password.
What you post
Threads and replies on the boards are public: anyone can read them, with your handle. Messages in the global chat can be read by any signed-in member until the room resets at local midnight. Reports you file are seen only by moderators.
Your progress
When you are signed in, your saved items are stored with your account so they appear on the website and in the app. When you are signed out they stay in this browser's local storage only.
Advertising
Ad slots on this site are served by SixStars itself: a picture, a line of text and a link. We run no third-party ad networks, trackers or analytics, and nothing about you is sent to advertisers. Last Star members see no ads.
Server logs
Our hosting (Cloudflare) and database provider keep standard request logs (IP address, browser, page requested) for security and reliability, for a short period.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account from the account page or the app at any time. That removes your profile, posts, chat messages and progress.
Links to shops
Gear pages link to retailers. Some links may carry an affiliate tag; when you follow one, the retailer's own privacy policy applies.
Age
SixStars covers a game rated for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
