A frame-by-frame analysis of the PS5 footage found no drop in resolution behind the softer look many viewers noticed: the game still appears to render at about 1440p and upscale to 4K, at 30 frames per second, with smoother motion than in earlier footage. It found no sign of QSSR, and some weaknesses in the HDR output.
